As
a transportation company, Wisconsin Logistics is responsible for the
safety of its’ employees, customers, and anyone who may come in contact
in with the equipment on the road or otherwise. The industry is highly
regulated through federal and state agencies so that the equipment,
roadways, and people who use them are kept safe. Wisconsin Logistics received their first
Department of Transportation (DOT) Safety Review Audit on January 31, 2000
and are happy to say the company received a SATISFACTORY SAFETY RATING
(the highest of 3, which are awarded). We pride ourselves on a strict and
thorough compliance of all safety regulations. We promote a well-rounded
approach to safety involving teamwork on the part of management, dispatch,
drivers, and customer service. We expect the highest professional regard
from each of these areas for all regulations. |

Safety Comes First SAFETY INCENTIVES Safety incentives play a big part in our
overall approach to safety. We would like our drivers to not only be safe,
but be proud of their safety records. Drivers who are accident free for 6
consecutive months will receive their choice of clothing options with our
company logo and "Excellence Through Safety" embroidered on the
front, or their choice of gift certificates. Those drivers who remain
accident free for 12 consecutive months will also receive the clothing
option or gift certificate, as well as a company plaque with their name on
it recognizing them for their safety efforts that designated year. We hope
to create and re-enforce pride in the job and self-worth to the employees
for their efforts in safety.

Wisconsin Logistics feels that safety is
a team effort, a cash bonus is awarded based on continuous accident free
day for the entire fleet. This
program could earn each driver up to $600.00 per year. Wisconsin Logistics feels safety is
everyone’s business, and it is important to you and the company whether
you are at home or at work. We
are vitally interested in your safety and well being and in maintaining a
good safety record. The
company has a definite responsibility to provide safe working condition
for all employees, and instruct them in safe working methods.
